Don’t you miss that pricing? I bought mine for around $100 and a brand new paki-top for $350 from a club member that changed his mind.
They are certainly Rigid but I had to weld up some holes so I know they are thin in some areas.
Thanks for the reply. Not having a custom top made, nor am I having any issues... I’m using a paki top and the fabric loops under the second tube of the rear bow and velcros to itself.
Not using ambulance doors either so I’m not adding the side “T” pieces which go down to the tub.
I’ll take...
I’m re-working some very rough soft top bows that I bought from a local club member around 2009 or so. They worked okay but I never had a middle bow and some of the fabrication was a bit rough so wanted to clean them up and make them nicer.
I did a fair an amount of searching but couldn’t find...
There is a thread in the land cruiser section of a somewhat recent build of FCs, it’s called Slo On the Go builds a 40. Or something like that, as always amazing work of his.
Thanks, not perfect but it cleans up the look a little.
I bought it off someone who installs gym flooring. You can get similar material from Tractor Supply or Home Depot, it’s called a stall mat. I just used paper to make templates then cut with a very sharp razor blade.
Not sure if this will do much but it’s what I did. I got the idea from Brennan Metcalf and his fzj45. I used 3/8” rubber mat for a gym floor. In the back of the tub I used 1/4” tread mill floor mat. The bottom side of the transmission tunnel is covered in ashphalt foil sound deadening.
