I get some smoke from time to time. Usually at start up after I have been driving for a while, when it's warmed up. Like today after stopping for lunch. Not bad but some. I figure smoke meant a rebuild might be needed.
The PO said it was rebuilt just before he had it repainted which was...
So, I have been contemplating whether my 78 40 needs to stay in my garage or move on to another one (someone else's). My 40 is de-smogged and has the original Aisan Carb and probably Dizzy. When I drive it, the exhaust fume smell can be rough. Not while driving but when I start it up in the...
@Kajun, glad you are back on this side of the pond. In reference to your comment about being Toyotaless..... The last time I saw you, on trash pick up at Jones Gap you said... "I will be in Germany for a couple years and when I get back, I'm gonna get a 200 series." :slap: :grinpimp: Just do it!
Unless he moved, that guy that runs the fabrication shop is heavily involved in the Wounded Warrior project. I/we used to have the storage facility that you were parked at taking the picture. He had a Firebird or Camaro that was painted up that he took to shows with Wounded Warrior Project...
That has scam written all over it. 79+ bezel up front, too. I wonder where the guy is located? I am guessing it would need to be paid for then "shipped" to the buyer. I hate that stuff like this goes on.
Burrell's Ford area is a great option. Lots of primitive camping on the SC side right on the Chattooga River. It's about 1/4 mile from the parking lot so a little walk but not bad. Other options in that area are closer to vehicles but a little tougher to locate.
Another option is to go to a...
I just realized the red 40 was probably @yamaguchigumi from the previous page. I definitely should have said hello. OOPS! I live and work in Greer so hopefully I will see you around again.
Sorry no pics (couldn't get my phone out quick enough). I saw a two tone, Light blue / dark blue 60-series in Greer Sunday afternoon. He was heading up Hwy 14 and crossed Wade Hampton as I sat at the light. Had a roof rack and a RTT on top. It looked like a nice ride.
Then..... yesterday...
That might have been me. I saw a LC coming down 178 as I was headed up there but didn't recognize it. I threw my hand out the window door opening to waive. I saw larger tires on what I thought was white-ish 100 series. With the curves and the wet road, I didn't get a great look.
So the kids had a birthday party to attend Sunday afternoon and my wife said she would take them and I could have some "free time." I had a choice to either do chores around the house or take a short road trip. Since I had a few hours to burn and figure chores can always wait, I decided to...
Went to lunch today off Woodruff Rd. and passed a nice 60 series. Tan or gold color IIRC. Too much traffic to take a picture. had OOBE sticker on the back glass...
I hate to disagree but BOA or any other bank has more to be concerned about than the person trying to buy the house. They have zero obligation to the buyer.
The term "short sale" actually is slang for the current owner attempting to sell their current home, which has a mortgage on it, and pay...
I guess that's why they say... "No good deed goes un-punished..." Sorry to hear about your truck and the long wait on a tow. Good Karma will get you back for planting the hydrangea for your friend. Hope he has a speedy recovery.
The first time I looked at the picture with the waterfall beside the house, I totally missed the huge tree that fell beside the house. It looks like it took out some of the porch and part of the deck. That would suck to come home to find.
Beautiful place beside that waterfall though...
I agree. However, some of the trailers I see being towed around here in SC make me wish we had tougher rules and regs against putting some of the junk I see on the road.
The only issue I have with bald tires is that it is usually a big mud tire that is so common. You know, the one's that are...
