I made the drawer system from 12mm ply. Pre-drilled all holes before screwing together, also used liquid nails.
The runners are made from 25x25x1.6 SHS, running on skateboard bearings. I used Tee-Nuts to bolt/screw the bearings too, as this made them sit flush with the other side.

Well been busy on the cruiser for the past few weeks.
I installed another gearbox into it, broke a bellhousing in the process
so now that its installed i noticed the bolt pattern on the new box, that bolt the front/rear drive shafts to box, are a
different pattern, all the originals are...
i was torqing up the 6 bolts that hold the pressure plate to the flywheel, i got to the last bolt and....SNAP
Question.... is it still ok to drive my FJ62 with this bolt missing for a short period of time, while i source an angle drill ?
i do not want to remove the g/box etc..... just to do...

yes 2 rows of bolts, once all bolts are off the body and the fender moves freely, then you will see what needs to be removed from the "stamped" section of your panel...

I managed to get my roof rack back on, and also put the rear cargo drawers in. Just have to make minor adjustemnts to the side hinged flaps and it'll be ready to fill up with gear and go camp'n.

ok... in my FJ62 3F cruiser, H55F, the idler is measured at 34mm.
I am looking at buying a H55F that is a later model with the 38mm idler (complete g/box and transfer).

Over the weekend I ran a new bead of sikaflex-227 along the whole roof gutter.
So now, I hope, i have fixed all the gutter issues.
All that is required now is the final touch up painting.

the rust has been cut out, and patches welded in, also i have bogged it ready for sanding. also have a tube of gutter silicone for the cutter channels.
looks nice neat and tidy.
question.... roof rack... is that the power 4x4 brand? does your gutter brackets fowl on the doors? i have a 3/4 rack and find that mine do. Also i have to upgrade the bolts to 8.8's as i have snapped a few of mine during tightening.

I am fixing the roof channel/rain gutter. as i was removing the sealant in the channel, i found the RUST :mad:
time to cut and weld new pieces in.

Quick update, swapped out fuel tanks, now have vapour lock. driving round with the fuel cap off.
I am also re-painting the front guard. sanded it back. it at the sandblasters now getting the final clean.

the pick-up was the only differance.
the diesel had one line for the pick up, and the petrol 2.
so i unscrewed them, and swaped them over.
other than that, the tank has the same amount of outlets on it.
thats why i was thinking it maybe something internally.
will look into it over the weekend.
is there any internal differances between the 2 tanks?
i removed my standard pertrol tank for my FJ60, and replaced it with a tank from a HJ60.
After 150km of driving after swap, seems i have bad vapor lock.
drove the rest of the way home with fuel cap loose.
