DVD Stuck in OEM Video Player? Help

Folks I have a ceiling mounted OEM DVD player for the backseat of my US-based 2004 LC100. The DVD slides into the unit from the rear of the vehicle forward, and is not stuck in there. The DVD will spin and play but will not eject. I can hear the eject motor but the disk won't shoot out...

    Laughable Speaker Price??? LC100

Guys I have a 2004 LC 100 with a stock stereo system. The right front speaker blew and needs replacing. I call up the local Toyota Dealer to find out the replacement costs, and he quotes $369.00???? After hanging up, I was finally able to control my laughter and ask the serious...

    Navigation system hacks

Guys, I have a 2004 LC100 with a Gen 4 Nav. Been a long time since I posted on this thread but here goes a wierd one. In 2009 I put the permanent hack in place so I can use my GPS while traveling. It is the one where you touch the upper left circle on the Destination screen and it takes...

    DS mirror malfunctioning

Not 100% sure, but many car mirrors are mounted on a ball mount that is adjustable just by pushing on the glass. (don't touch the switch). See if the mirror has been push to the limit and is therefore rigid. Other choice, the switch is good but the wiring to the motor is inverted in the...

Flashers turn on when it's wet

This is Deja Vu all over again for me. A few years back, my 2004 LC100 had its windshield replaced and then started to show the exact symptons you describe. Mine were occassionally worse but always tied to a car wash or rain. I won't tell you the super long story but.... there was a bad seal...

    Latest Nav DVD upgrade

C-Dan Just to clarify, the latest version that just came out is only $169? That is pretty good considering past prices. Does that CD fit a 2004 LC which I think is a Gen 4 Nav? Scott

Dumb DLR Question for 2004 LC100

Friends I am checking my owners manual to replace my burnt headlamp. I wanted to order low and high beams in one buy, and I thought I would get the DDL bulbs but.... is that dumb because they are the same bulb as the low beams? I wanted to get yellow DDL's but retain the white low beam...

    White/Tan Two Tone

Yep, this is what mine looks like also. But take the flairs off carefully because most older LC100's will have some paint damage where the flairs once were (rubbing) and you may want to put them back on rather than see all the touchup paint.

    Truck Got Jacked Today...

Instead of a noisey alarm, why don't you get an in-car security box or safe. Especially if you are going to leave a wallet, computer, phone or weapon in there. Not saying they ain't defeatable, but it sure makes it much much tougher and time consuming which means they will move on to another...

    Anyone use Dynabeads? Tire Selection?

These beads are used a LOT on off road motorcycles and some road bikes. The reason we use them is because we can change our own tubes and tires on the trail. So, to keep them balanced in BFE, dynabeads can be used on tube or tubeless tires. Some guys will road race with them but I just have my...

Running Wires to the Roof of a LC100

Do I have to pull the seats up? there wasn't much from the previous owner in the trunk under the carpet so I don't invision much under the rest of it either. I did put the antenna on the hood today with little benefit from it being on metal surface. I am going to have to test it on the...

Running Wires to the Roof of a LC100

Thanks. I responded in that post The cable is currently routed through the front firewall. I am going to take the antenna and put it on the flat part of the hood and see what happens. That can't be much different than the roof since the hood is nearly has high as the roof on a standard...
