Thank you. i will try this procedure as soon as i get my hands on a techstream. i will report on my thread regarding the results and questions which might have popped up.
i'm hoping to do this next month in a friends garage where i can lift the car and adjust the TBs and see whether a spacer...
you are right @PADDO, @uHu and yourself as many others have provided excellent help during my build and getting things done the right way. i didnt think i would find any information in my thread regarding the ride quality as i have read all of it several times. anyway, i read through all the...
I have read about this where you described the same solution to the issue in another Land Cruiser Forum, only problem is, i can not find the plug mentioned. have looked several times and couldnt find one. neither in the lower tailgate or the upper or the frame arount the tailgates. is it under...
Same issue here. Flushed entire AHC-Fluid, checked bushings and i get 7 grads on the ahc-container. The ride doesnt really feel different between comfort and sport. is there a way how i could see the difference between the two (four) modes?
I would like to bring this topic up again.
I have the same issue:
locking unlocking the car with the remote: no problem.
Unlocking the car with the key in the driverside door: alarm goes off.
Is this how it is supposed to be?
Also the alarm goes off from time to time. Nighttime, daytime...
Yesterday i had an impact wrench at hand. I screwed off the protection cover of the rear diff lock and tried my best with the phillips head screws. they eventually wore out before the screw moved just even a bit. i the cut a slot so i could use the slotted screwer. it went better but before the...
I'll try to get my hand on an impact wrench.
What will i encounter once it's open? what do i have to look for? what could be the stuck part and how do i recognize (and maybe fix) it?
I have already checked engaging the diff while driving slowly whilst doing turns, but the light keeps on blinking. something must be stuck...
i agree, on the housing there isnt really rust, but this is party due to the underbody coating i did few months ago. also i couldnt really find another...
Hi guys
as i have mentioned in my thread about preparing the 100 for a trip through africa (Prepping my 100 for an Africa-Adventure) i have a differential lock which doesnt engage. presumably due to corrosion. today i wanted to take it apart to check for the acutal reason, but i didnt get...
Almost forgot: Changed out my third tail light which was cracked and leaked into the trunk. Original part for 120$.
QUESTION: Does the leaking have something to do with my alarm going off from time to time? (have read much --> cellphone, microwave, moisture...)
UPDATE:
- apart from installing my new dash cam, i installed a dual battery setup by T-Max as well as an additional auxiliary output in the center console storage.
- LED-Lighting in the interior as well as on the trunk lid which gives me light on the working surface.
- The working surface has...
Today I got my Dual Battery System by T-Max up running. With a New Yellowtop 75ah which fits in just nicely. Setup is pretty straight forward, no problems whatsoever.
Apart from this i did a LED-Update on the interior. Stunning how much more light gets into the cabin! Also i installed LED strips...
Today I testfitted my new bullbar from RockArmor. As it is forbidden to have them on in Switzerland, i cant drive around with it. As soon as the car will go to Africa for our Overlandtrip (see link below), i will mount it. Looking forward to it!
Here another pic of the not yet installed Bull bar.
I have as well installed a dashcam on the righthand side of the rear view mirror, nicely tucked away, wiring all in the roof liner. I will get some pics of it later. here is the product i have bought and i'm quite satisfied.
Today I testfitted my new bullbar from RockArmor. As it is forbidden to have them on in Switzerland, i cant drive around with it.
Also i have installed a dual air horn. Also forbidden in switzerland, so as long as i am here, i wont use it. But i guess its never bad to have a loud horn to get...
