Hi everyone...for those of you who don't participate in the 80 Series forum, I wanted to link my trip report. In June, I drove my Land Cruiser from Arizona up to Alaska and back. I've enjoyed being a part of Copper State Cruisers and met some of you at the meetups, most recently at Camelback...
Well, I drove my 80 over 7,000 miles in the month of June (Alaska and back) and one of my tires has started to bulge. I have decided to replace the whole set and change tire size while I'm at it. Minus the damaged tire, here is what I have, all BFG KO's purchased in December 2010. Must pick up...
BUMP - I need to relocate due to work. This is now free! Call it a Cinco de Mayo weekend special. I'd hate to take this to the junk yard but I cannot take it with me, so help me find it a home this week!
I just did 12V outlet install a few weeks ago. I used a BlueSea Megafuse holder at the battery and bolted it to the plastic battery tray. Seems sturdy enough. I've seen some people use the metal battery hold-down clamp for mounting accessories...but having just replaced the radiator, I...
Unless Murf has a maximum occupancy for white 80s, I will be driving up from Tucson. Not sure if I'll be rocking my UofA t-shirt or Iowa (10-0 whaatt??)
Due to location, I haven't attended a CSC meet since my pre-mod days (2011 or so). Since then, my CSC sticker has worn off. Who is the...
UPDATED 5/5/2016: FREE front bumper with winch mount to CSC Members! I gotta move soon, so help me find this a home by next week so I don't have to toss it! Pick up in Tucson.
80 Series Class III Mount for Portable Winch:
I recently installed an ARB front bumper, so I'm looking to sell my...
Fun seeing everyone tonight! So much knowledge and experience in this group. Thanks to all who worked to bring together the Southern AZ contingent, both this year and in years past. Looking forward to next month.
I didn't see Don's 100 in any of the above photos, so here's one more. PS...
I'll stop by as well. Maybe we should post a new thread for tomorrow's event ? The meetups are pretty buried at this point, plus it's not the usual Friday night.
See you all tomorrow.
Is there still a market for these in the 4-Runner world? Anyway, I have a set stock springs from when I did my lift. They have 138,000 mi on them with the expected sag, but are in good shape. Free to anyone in CSC that can use them as long as you take all 4!
I'm in Tucson but come up to...
There's a small weekly car show every Thursday night at the Firehouse Subs on River and Orange Grove. Big parking lot, and good access to I-10. it might be fun to make a CSC appearance sometime.
No matter where, I think there are enough of us in Tucson that it's time we do this.
I'm probably not qualified to answer, but here is my experience now that I am probably about 50% through the study process. Last month I started studying on my own for the Technician license. I was partially motivated by some of the discussion on this board concerning our Martinez Cabin run in...
Great to see another Tucson member. My dream is to someday get enough of us that we can do a Friday night meet just like the guys in Phx.
I'm new to CSC also, but really enjoyed the run in the Florence area (Martinez Cabin) a month ago. Florence is a nice halfway point between Tucson and the...
Thanks everyone for having the Tucson guys and getting us through intact! And props to the cooks!
Good to have you along jetranger.
