    List of Colorado Passes

When I do not have a specific destination in mind and just want an interesting drive in the mountains with good scenery I often head for the passes. First off not all passes are on the Continental Divide but just separate one watershed from another. Many passes are little known and hard to...

I appreciate the info. I prefer the less crowded areas. Good looking 60 you have there.

If you'd like to visit the area and poke around, let me know. We definitely want to go back. A couple of folks from the CO Land Cruisers bunch on Mud have shown interest.

Crisis in our national parks: how tourists are loving nature to death

I enjoy peace, quiet and solitude. Being out with a handful of like minded friends is fine as well. If I wanted to be sardine canned in a crowd I'd go to Disney World. Come to think of it, the crowds you encounter at these major outdoor destinations behave like they are at some theme park.

Might be worth checking with the local sheriff & cops. Maybe BLM & USFS.

    SAS Solid Axle Summit 2018

That's one way to look at it. Here's another - the few who will not behave like adults may get the SAS banned from KOA.

    SAS Solid Axle Summit 2018

Sincere thanks to everyone who had a hand in organizing SAS. For us it was the right balance of laid back but professional grade - and that is hard to achieve. This includes the sponsors and the outstanding work on grill badges, stickers and shirts. And we met a bunch fine folks. Safe...
