    Broken in Albuquerque, wheeling anyone?

I wasn't quick enough with the camera to catch Rudy lifting a tire, but I did get Paul making the same turn... and I was able to spot Onur onto a silly line... I could be wrong, but I think he liked it.

The longer wheelbase of the 80 makes it a tough climb, but Onur pulls it off.

Note the rock in the last series of pics, the one at the top. In the first pic it's whole, in the last it's in pieces. Rudy cresting a ridge. Onur rounding the bend. The gulley.

Rudy squeaks past a wall. The way we came in. What would have happened to us if Dan hadn't shown us the way out.

Guys - I had an awesome time today. Thanks so much for treating me to some Midwestern Hospitality. Here's what I saw today: View from my room.... view from the driver seat

Yes, it should fit fine. I don't have access to the IPOR office PC which would have the current list of approved applications but I can check when I get back. The H55F is longer than the stock trans/tcase combo - but the toybox is longer too and it fits. I don't think the size of the split...

Thanks Keith, that's very cool. Of course if I knew the truck was going to blow up I would have driven something else, LOL! On the skids - my FedEx guy and his chiropractor know them well! :)

I know, I know... And to think, the IPOR FJ55 buggy started life as a 60... not fair at all. I just haven't developed a 60 skid yet .

LOL! No, didn't bring any parts because I didn't want to overload the POS ford. The FZJ40 weighs in at a portly 5,500 lbs with trail gear and driver! It didn't have to be that way but I just kept adding more and more steel. It's clean, I'm happy. I don't care if it's heavy - that just makes...

I'm staying in the Microtel Hotel next to the Flying J truckstop off of I40 on the West side of town. There's a CB shop here - Extreme CB. Are they any good? They seem to know what they're talking about, I was going to have them put a CB in the FZJ40 this morning.
