Hi Guys! I know a few of you have run the High Water Mark Trail. Do any of you have maps to share? I'd like to run this trail in 2-3 weeks and start in Clayton, Oklahoma and work my way east. . I've been searching google but haven't found what I'm looking for. Any help would be much...
Thanks! I enjoyed making the Scotts knife. The Round Up was a good time. Here's three more pics... The FJ Company from Miami, brought a 40 with a 1FZ-Fe transplant with a 5 speed... Immaculate rig, though I'm still trying to figure out how they change the #6 spark plug... Thanks again!
Does anyone have an auto brokers license? I found a project vehicle on Coparts.com, but a can't bid on it. I'll be happy to pay. Please let me know. Thanks!
Installed new speakers in the 80 this afternoon... then unloaded all gear for a good cleaning... then took it to the car wash... and then went for a test drive... while on test drive, I noticed a trail... :( Even lockers couldn't get me out of this mess. I hate mud!!!
Want to give a shout out...
That's a good question...
I would make sure to top off on gas in Marathon. Gas in the park is expensive! It was $3.50 a gallon on New Years Eve.
Go both directions on Black Gap. It's the best 4x4 road in the park. One direction doesn't do it justice. I spent the night in a dry river bed...
They frown on camping off the trail... but whats a guy to do when its getting dark and your in the middle of the park? Also keep in mind there are no campfires allowed in the park. :frown: That said, its a fun trip! I'd do it again.
I even met some cool overlanders from Belgium and France!
I spent 4 days there the last week of December. Camping can be a problem... the permits are given on a first serve basis. Be inline early! Two nights I could not get a permit. I four wheeled up some dry river beds and camped... turned out to be the best camping of the whole trip! Though I don't...
Does anyone have a 3/4" torque wrench I can rent? Beginning Sunday, I plan to replace all the cooling system components in my 97 80. I would like to replace the front crank seal while I'm in there, along with a few other gaskets.
Please let me know if you have one.
Thanks!!
Sorry if this isn't the correct forum. But I'm in a bind... I broke this part and need one asap!
I need part 11 in the diagram. PLEASE contact me if you have one.
THANK YOU!!!
I have a one piece rain gutter for an FJ40. The gutter is in very good condition. I rebuilt it, sandblasted, an painted with POR15.
Also have a fiberglass top that needs some work, but is salvageable. If you buy the rain gutter, the top is free! Price is $200
