Thanksgiving fell on my daughter’s birthday this year so she got to choose what we ate so instead of the traditional thanksgiving dinner we had bacon cheeseburgers and crinkle cut French fries. Happy Turkey…um…Bacon Cheeseburger Day
Tried something different this weekend, Smoked Sirloin Roast. Turned out great. Tender like a filet with a good beefy taste. Will grab another one next time I see them at Sam’s.
Had a few shrimp, crawfish and sausage left over from dinner so this morning turned it into an omelette. Don’t know what’s wrong with the rest of the people in the house as they wouldn’t even try it but it was awesome. One day they will realize they have been missing out.
Tried something different as Costco was out of brisket. Sirloin cap sliced thick seasoned with salt, pepper and garlic powder smoked at 225* for 1.5hrs, removed and then finished at 500* for a quick sear. Turned out awesome
