This is what I have gotten done so far questions and comments and tips/pointers are appreciated especially from those that have done the build. This is my first post on mud and I’m exited to get to know more of the community.
Replaced a lot of seals on the engine and put it back together and painted with genuine Cummins black. I got the banks twin intake and PDP fuel filter holder to tie everything together. Also mounted up my high lift ac bracket from adventure NW. also did my kdp
First started by taking out the Toyota engine and transmission. Once it was out cleaned out the engine bay and took off the tranfer case and cleaned it which I’ll be keeping and using with the dodge drivetrain.
Picked up the engine and transmission. The engine came out of a 2x4 truck with 98k miles so it won’t need too much attention. Just a couple seals replaced and automatic stuff deleted. Transmission does need to be rebuilt not sure if I want to do it myself or have a shop do it.
