Good primer and rattle can enamel, repeat as necessary. My rock sliders have been hit on trees, dragged on rocks and stepped upon by kids and elders alike. No paint job will be permanent so I'd rather make it easy to repaint!

I can attest to their hardiness! I had landed my truck hard on these sliders multiple times and I regularly use the kickout to rotate my truck around obstacles on trails - they don't even have a slight dent on them!

Hell Naw! No to the meat rippers. My 5 and 7 year old boys continuously slip and get there leg lodged into the space between the two tubes. One of these days I will get a slightly recessed diamond plate welded on there to help with that.

These sliders have saved my truck twice already. No dents or gorges at all. My rattle can paint job on the other hand is not holding up well at all!

Well that's bummer. Anyone has any favorite recommendations? I live in snow/salt belt so anything left uncovered will rust out in months.

I placed my order last week. Now waiting anxiously for mine to arrive. What type of paint did you use?

It sure is. If shipping wasn't such a killer, I probably would've placed my order.
