    I cannot find exactly what I am looking for on this forum. I have an 08/70 FJ40. Who can instruct me on how to wire-in a GM style turn signal assembly to my stock harness? I would need detailed instructions if anyone has done this...... I am considering putting a new column in for a variety...

    I agree.....thats why I'm still wondering why my cable popped out.......mine is same....just oriented opposite due to where my cable enters the housing......crazy....

    Although mine is opposite because the cable enters from the right.....it seems mine resembles this pic I found on the net......

    I have no idea why my brake cable enters from the right. I picked up this 4 speed tranny used so don't know the history. Anyone have any insight?????

    Actually my parking brake enters the housing from the right for some reason so the orientation should be correct.....

    Ok.......what keeps it in? The spring seems to force mine up and out of the bracket that it sits in.

    Does the highlighted end where the cable attaches get squeezed to make sure cable does not come out? I pulled mine apart recently after a rebuild and found the cable had come out of the bracket that it sits in

    Waiting on that tranny and trying to figure out what color to go with!!! I am no means an expert. I do have a ton of pictures if anyone needs to see how something goes. Hope you liked the pics. Feel free to comment and I will post more as I proceed.

    Body work included a new right rear quarter panel and left rocker. No rust....but clearly in her 50 years of life....she must have been taken off road.........🤣
