Wiring GM tilt column to stock '70 turn signals

I cannot find exactly what I am looking for on this forum. I have an 08/70 FJ40. Who can instruct me on how to wire-in a GM style turn signal assembly to my stock harness?
I would need detailed instructions if anyone has done this......
I am considering putting a new column in for a variety of reasons.....
Anyone???? Thanks in advance...

I have this setup. You will need the FJ40 wiring diagram and the GM wiring diagram. Just match up the wiring - diagrams are both available online.

X2. My column is out of a mid- 90's GM truck. Get both sides of the electrical connectors on the GM column from the donor vehicle and splice into the 40 harness. My high beams are wired into the column, and it's nice having a locking column where one wasn't before.
