I moved my seat all the way forward to look for something under it and now it will not go back. It seems to be binding on the left side while the right tries to go back. is this a common problem and if so, how difficult is the fix?

My '97 cruiesr with 118,000 is using about a quart of oil about every 1,000 miles, i am using 10-30, any ideas it is an emmisions equipment problem or what, i would not think it is the valve guides or the rings this early in the motor's life...any help on this problem?

i'm about to repair/replace the front brake pads, and am wondering why i haven't seen anything on 80 series brakes, anyone got any input on the best chioce of pads, whether to use the 100 series pads or not, and how about the porcelain pads, anyone use them?
