Looks to be both switches. The light bulbs are attached with solder and both seem to be burnt out.
There is 12v at the defogger on the rear windows. Not sure about the fog tail light but the switch looks jerry rigged.
The defogger switch is available but not the fog light.
I had frost on the rear windows of my LJ77, so I went to turn on the rear defooger and the light on the dash to indicate that it is on, did not light up.
The rear "fog light" also did not work.
There is a 15 amp fuse for the rear defogger, it looked ok but I changed it anyway and still no...
Mice chewing on wire insulation? Bare wire making contact with metal causing the short. Follow the wiring harness as best you can to see if you can find the short.

Not mentioned but remove the cap from the overflow reservoir and is there a tube connected, so when the radiator cools, it can suck coolant back into the radiator.
Ok, a typo
50 kph = 50 x .6 = 30 mph
100 kph on the speedometer, 100 x .6 = 60 mph
Actual conversion is .62, so kph x .62 = mph.
Much easier to use a phone app.
Where is the BJ71 being imported from? Is it left or right hand drive?
Of course, we need pictures, especially the underside.

Both are in GA.
This is minor but the windshield wipers on my 40 did not work. I pulled the wiper motor and had it rebuilt.
Re-installed the motor and still no go. I hooked up 12 volts to the motor and I had wipers, so the motor rebuild was good.
Finally got around to tracking down the bad...
I'm guessing the thermostat. I have a 2LT and even on cold mornings in CT, after about 1.5 to 2 miles of 35 mph driving, I have heat and the temp gauge is above "C".
Maybe it is stuck open or the previous owner installed a low temp thermostat.
I like my 91 LJ77 and have not had any overheating issues. But, I'm in CT.
A friend in CO has a LJ73 and does have some overheating issues.
Is elevation the cause? Maybe going up over passes?
He is going to have an oversized radiator installed.
I've done some mild wheeling and it is capable...
