Sorry if this is a dumb question.
My cruiser is a 97. I've been nursing a knock forever. Well, it finally let go and now I'm in the market for an engine. Found a good, low mile 94 for a good price. My question is, how extensive are the differences between the engines out of OBD I vs OBD...
Hey Jonathan,
Thanks for the heads-up and if I'm still looking in Feb I'll check in with you. I am hoping to find something sooner, though.
Thanks,
Drew
Ugh...you're a few months early for me. I'll be looking for another ride this summer and that'd be a great twin for my rig. (Sage 40th, locked, on OME 2.5, currently pulling baby-wagon duty). Good luck with your sale.
Great, I'll take it. Transport is a little hard right now. We're down to 1 car, and mom needs it to shuttle the kids around. Are you around in the evenings during the week at all?
Looking for the factory hitch for my '97. Pref local to SF bay area. $50 seems to be the going rate. Doesn't have to be pretty, just has to work.
Also willing to trade my pintel hook setup.
Thanks,
Drew

I am having an issue similar to the OP's item 1. If I apply the brake slowly, it will blow through most of the pedal travel. It firms up at the bottom and brakes somewhat normally. If I press the pedal as I would in normal driving, it brakes normally. Sometimes at a light if I apply light...
Check out these guys. Tufram is a teflon impregnated ano. They do small jobs at a reasonable price. Finish looks really good too. Looks like mil-spec hard ano with a plasticy sheen to it.
