Thanks for the great answers! It is going to be stored in my mother-in-laws garage. Wasn't sure if I should have her start it every so often or just take the battery out and lay it up. She's pretty responsible, so she probably wouldn't mind starting it.
Am being sent overseas and have to put my LX-450 into storage. Am already planning an oil change, removing the battery, stuffing intake and exhaust. Any other things I should think of? Should I put it on jack stands or just wood below the wheels? Thanks in advance.

Was wondering if anyone knew if I can replace the middle seat in my 80 with the seat from the 100. If not, would like to find a way to refit a center shoulder harness for the middle seat. Thoughts?
I have to admit that I could have done a better job looking over my rig, but nothing has gone wrong with it (yet). Took a look inside the engine bay, underneath, took it for a ride and wrung it out. Should of done a compression test too. I think that service records are important in the same...
Got home and just looked at my FSM. According to the troubleshooting guide it's the flasher or the wiring harness. What would replacing the wiring harness for the amber lights be like. Just thinking it about it makes my head hurt.
Am away for the memorial day weekend, so dont have my FSM with me (wont make that mistake again). 1996 LX-450. Amber running lights/turn signals out. Fuses look ok-turn and hazard flashers still making clicky sound when activated. Any thoughts? Is there a fusible link for these lights...
