Blew one of the hard lines that goes from the radiator area around the battery, along the fender to the firewall.
Can those hard lines be repaired? Or must they be replaced?
I don't know which lines blew. I simply have not had the ability to go check. Driverside front of the truck, near the battery.
I"m just trying to get an idea of what A/C components are located there.
Sitting in the drive through temps over a 100 and an A/C line blew out near the battery . I couldn't see much there. Is the drier located in that area? Couldn't really tell...
'96 LX450 with 230k miles. I've owned it since it had 126k and have always used Toyota oil filter and Mobile 1 synthetic 5w30.
Had a VERY SLIGHT amount copper or bronze colored particulate in the engine oil. Never seen that before.
Main bearings? Cam bearings? It runs great with no knocking...
I'm starting to really think my issue is with my newish rear pads/rotors. After driving it a bit the end of the axle tubes are luke warm. If the rear wheel bearings were bad, that would be HOT.
replacing the rear brakes again this weekend and will report back...
My 2000 LX470 w/280k miles has a sound coming from the DS rear that I think is either the brakes or wheel bearing.
I have a standard hydraulic press. Is there anything else needed 'special' to replace the rear wheel bearings?

I have not yet bled the brakes, but after a few pumps, they seem to work great!
