I shed the ARB front and slee swing out rear a long time ago. That reminds me - I should update my avatar haha. :D

Hey, that was me! If I had seen you, I would have come over. We were sitting outside on the patio.

More EGR diagnosis questions. With pics

A longer piece of hose can connect directly from the EGR valve to the VSV under the intake. You can completely bypass that pipe.

    You have been SPOTTED!

I'm not too far away. I'm right across the street at Carolinas Medical Center. I could probably hit my office with a rock from where my truck is on the street :D

That's probably me. My lady lives on 5th between N. Caswell and Hawthorne. I'm parked out there on the street all the time.

    You have been SPOTTED!

It was probably me! I drop the kids off some mornings for school over by the tennis courts. I parked on the street there for the Greek festival Thursday night too. Not sure when you saw me.

    Logan's Run 2016 - Sept 15-18 2016

Just registered! Will be there with the family. Quick question - Is this open to non-members? My dad has a heep and would probably love to come, if I asked him.

I see that rig there all the time, but have never seen the owner. It has to be an employee. I tried to create some cruiser only parking the last time I was up there :D

    GX460 / Prado150 pic thread

Your ride looks great! How did you get the 285's to fit with stock wheels? Are you running wheel spacers? People have said even a narrower 275/70/18 will make contact with the upper control arms on stock wheels. They are a tiny bit taller though, 33.2 vs your 32.5. Maybe that makes all the...

Help - Broken vacuum lines? after VSV removal.

I followed the diagram and put everything back together with the new VSV in a much more accessible location. The check engine light is gone. It went off after a few drives today. Problem solved!

Help - Broken vacuum lines? after VSV removal.

That's my thought too. I'm going to route them exactly as the factory diagram has them run, no connector in between. I have no idea why that 4 way was in there. I had my top end rebuilt about 12 years ago with my HG replacement. They could have put something funky in there.

Help - Broken vacuum lines? after VSV removal.

Can I just direct attach the two lines to the TVV. If so, does anyone know which one goes to port J and which one goes to K? Or maybe it doesn't matter?

Help - Broken vacuum lines? after VSV removal.

Ok, pulled the throttle body. One hose is from the TB via a hard line. The other is from the vacuum control valve, also via a hard line. Per the factory diagram, both should be headed to the TVV. That's probably what the other two vacuum lines are that I see. One plugs into pipe J on the the...

Help - Broken vacuum lines? after VSV removal.

Looked at the diagram and couldn't figure it out. Want to make sure it's just vacuum hose and not something else. And thanks for the offer, but I am already prepared for the unexpected :grinpimp:

Help - Broken vacuum lines? after VSV removal.

Finally tried to tackle the intermittent P0401 code that has plagued me for years. Started with testing the VSV, which failed. Decided to remove the VSV without pulling the TB or intake manifold, per a few threads outlined here on mud. I got the old VSV and bracket out and was preparing to...
