fabricated a custom mount and installed an astra electric power steering pump. Now just need to plumb and wire it and then I will have power steering without the parasitic drag of a normal belt driven pump.
Finished disassembling, cleaning, installing new seals and bearings, painting with POR 15, and assembling my PTO winch. Now just need to build the driveshaft and load the cable on the drum and it’s good to go.
Re-installed the transfer case after changing the input shaft seal and gasket. Hopefully that will stop the leak between the transmission and transfer case. Also installed the PTO gearbox so I can get the PTO winch functional again and put new parking braking shoes on. Going to be on the road...
Hello. Sorry to bother you about this again but do you know where I can get the feed line banjo bolt like you have in your picture. My new one only came with a regular bolt and I don’t have an old one. Or maybe what size this bolt and thread pitch it is.
Thank you everyone. I settled on 1” diameter solid steel rod. That should be strong enough I think. Just needs to be stronger than the shear pin is supposed to be right?
Good evening,
Does anyone have experience making their own pto pivot bolt? I am rebuilding my PTO winch and planing to make my own pivot with a regular bolt threaded into the transmission and the non-threaded part be the pivot surface. Does this sound like it would work, because it does to me...
Hello everyone. I am hoping someone can help me with a PTO winch driveshaft. Ideally for and 1978 bj40, but happy to modify Andy thing that would work. Thanks for your help in advance.

Good evening. I would be interested in the driveshaft and also the clutch/brake lever and mount and the long roller. The circled parts. Are these still available and how much would you want for them. Thanks.
