What is the original solution for this? (FJ43 1970 w/ 2F)

Well s***, that looks fun. As far as I can tell this is all relatively plug-and-play - correct? I see you're the vendor, what type of instructions, if any, are included?

What is the original solution for this? (FJ43 1970 w/ 2F)

I'm slowly working on making my FJ43 more original than not. A painful process as I'm sure many know. Thus far I've been tackling the more aesthetic elements. Now I am ready to jump down the more technical rabbit hole. What is the 'original' version of this?

    Purchase advice? 1970 FJ43 w/ 2F motor

I'm told it was a taxi/bus of sorts at one point (only two owners) and the taxi/bus owner changed the bed as he felt it was better for transporting people around. Who know what the true reason is of course.

    Purchase advice? 1970 FJ43 w/ 2F motor

Hello, I've found an FJ43 owned/restored by a mechanic shop in Colombia (I am in Colombia at the moment). The vehicle is a 1970 but has been retrofitted with a 2F motor. It starts without issue and as far as I can tell the body is in good shape. The only two issues I see, from a resale or...

    Purchase advice / intro thread (FJ43, 1974)

Thank you all! Going to try to make the buy (not the easiest process here) but I am optimistic. I've been wading through countless crap listings. Either totally botch 'restorations' or franked-cruisers. This one has some promise. ...and if I manage to get it, I'll happily try to track down...

    Purchase advice / intro thread (FJ43, 1974)

Not bad at all. Drove it around the lot (dirt) without issue. Engine was cold to start and turned over no problem. Undercarriage looks ok too (see photos). It has been raining like crazy here and the truck was dry inside, save a few spots. But I expected it soaked given the torrential rain we...

    Purchase advice / intro thread (FJ43, 1974)

Hello all! New to the FJ world, considering a purchase. Any input/perspective is appreciated! I am located in Colombia (for the next few years). The market here is pretty varied with total crap and amazing restorations. I am, for budget reasons, looking for something in between. This came up...
