Mine starting doing this VERY badly after a safelite windshield replacement. I tried adding rainex and claybaring, but nothing helped. I had been using the "high end" autozone rainex blades that are one solid body instead of the old ugly metal ones. For some reason I thought that could be the...
If you use the search feature and just type in GROM in titles only, you will find a hundred threads just on this system. It is very widely discussed in detail on several threads.
That said, I currently have one installed in my truck and I rarely ever turn it on. The rest of the infotainment...
UPDATE AND QUESTION:
So I had a chance to look into the coolant, and it was low about 1 gallon. I filled it up and it seems to have cleared up all issues. Which leads me to some questions.
1) Does the 200 have a heater control valve that stops fluid from flowing through the heater core when...
Hey guys,
So my 2013 has all of the sudden started to stumble just after start up and feels like it’s going to die with a low idle. It only happens at start up and quickly goes away. Additionally it happens frequently regardless if the motor is cold or warmed up. This has been going on for a...
I have a 2013 with 160K miles on it, and I just purchased 4 new factory shocks and springs to refresh mine. I haven't had it since new, but I felt it had a slight sag and didn't ride as well as a 2021 I test drove. I put them in (forgetting to measure height) and there was a major noticeable...
I just had a different cause but same issue. Came out one morning and my battery was very dead (6V) for no apparent reason. Truck would not start with a jump start, but everything electronic seemed normal. Charged battery, tested battery, charged some more.... battery tested good but the start...
Looks great! Did you use all of the spacers included in the kit? (2 front 1 rear) Do you have any measurements for the lift you gained? I've seen several people leave off the smaller front spacer and it looks very level just like yours.
@supraturbo and @Leaky2014 obviously have the most sensible answer, and will likely be the only logical fix.
I just went out and tried manually pushing the hatch up further, and it did not budge any so I assume that the struts are allowing full range. I am only 5'11", however I go to several...
Hey guys, I have a 2013 Land Cruiser with manual lift gate and I've realized lately that I find myself in alot of situations where I'm standing slightly higher than my cruiser while putting stuff in the rear cargo. On several occasions I have hit my head on the upper hatch, and I'm not a very...
I have 2018 wheels on my 2013, and it does require modifying the center caps. It only takes a Dremel tool and about 10 minutes. There is even a line on the tabs for you to follow with your cuts.
I've never owned a 100 series, so I can't answer that questions directly. I can however tell you that I purchased a 2013 about a year ago, and I immediately started asking myself why I didn't just save money and buy an 08-11. In my opinion the small amount of tech upgrades are not worth the...
Does anyone know who this is, or what lift and tire setup this is? Looks like a good daily driver setup for those of us that aren't going hardcore wheeling.
Did they make a 2016 LX570 with factory blacked out package?
Hey guys, I've searched alot and I think I have found the answer, but I wanted to ask here and see what you all had to say. Is this LX factory blacked out or is this painted/plasti dipped?
Was that a Florida truck by any chance? It looks like "Love Bug" damage, and it happens in days not years. It is unfortunately into the clear coat and the only chance of saving is buffing and polishing. It will at least make it look acceptable and delay or prevent you from having to paint it.
Truck looks great! Could you elaborate on the "firm, yet still plush" comment? Our cruiser is in need of new suspension and I can't decide if I want to go factory replacement or aftermarket with mild lift. We love the way it takes small bumps, but the whoopy marshmallow feel drives me nuts...
Reading through this thread and the last line of Eric's comment sure didn't age well.... :( Maybe we can ask someone in Australia if he was right? haha
