    Fusible link replacement

I’m sorting through an electrical issue and would like to replace fusible links. Where can I get those for my ‘89 24v HJ61? Are the fusible links the same for 24v 61 as for 12v 60’s and 62’s? My charge light stays on now, and the turbo lights on the tach stay on. Reading on the volt meter is...

    Importing from the Canary's

Anthony did everything he said he would do. And everything turned out the way he said it would. I wish I would’ve been copied on more emails. Now a few months later, I’d totally do it all over again. I’m a novice and didn’t know what questions to ask. I say go for it!! I asked for an inspection...

    Dash gauge spikes to 30V

I’m suspicious of this very thing. And I’ve already thrown bags of money away. Searching through parts websites is way worse than cruising Amazon

    Dash gauge spikes to 30V

Followed FSM instructions to diagnose voltage regulator. All of the readings are close, but some were 10% above or below the target. And a little bit of rust inside! is the external voltage regulator a part that’s easy to find, without being sent from EU?

    Dash gauge spikes to 30V

Measured 33v when the dash gauge reads 30v when not spiking, measures 24.

    Dash gauge spikes to 30V

1989 HJ61 285,000 km I’ve owned this gem for about three months. About a month ago, I noticed the dash voltage meter bounce a little and the lights get a little brighter and the fan speed up...just a little. Every once in a while, when I first start the truck, the volt meter jumps right to...

Installation Guide for ARB Headlight Harness and Hella H1/H4s

Yeah...i was wondering about that. is it only the voltage difference, or are there any other ways the headlights are wired differently? the vendor I bought the harness from indicated it was going to be an "off-label" use of the product, but that they had other customers who tried it and were...

Installation Guide for ARB Headlight Harness and Hella H1/H4s

I haven’t been able to make the arb harness work. Started with old sealed beam headlights on my hj61, then went to hella h4’s and h1’s. They worked pretty well. Not quite sure why I tried the arb loom—probably project envy from reading mud, or just cause i like making improvements to the...

Installation Guide for ARB Headlight Harness and Hella H1/H4s

Kind of a random question...what do you do with the other three original sets of wires that went to the old headlights? Do they just hang out?

    Whats this?

New diesel owner here...HJ61. There’s a knob to pull just under the 4hi button on the dash. The logo looks like it’s for a choke. What’s this called in a diesel?
