Cable access through bulkhead.
I have an HDJ81 (RHD auto) which means conveniently, there is a ~36mm hole (plugged with a rubber grommet) right through the bulkhead where a clutch master cylinder would have been fitted. Whistling 1HD-FT.
I have owned a diesel 4.2 24v (1HD-FT) Landcruiser 80 series (HDJ81) for over a year now and it has always made a strange whistling sounds on moderate to full throttle irrespective of RPM.
