hi, chainberlains here in new zealand make a spring lift kit that i ran in my prado( before i sold the truck) it worked great, paired their springs with munroes shocks, could also use rancheros rs9????

The tractor driver on our farm has a cruser like that with a tip deck, it is an electric motor running a hydralic pump.
One idea that you may want to consider ifyou take this way is that he uses a double acting ram this way he can tip like normal, but to shift one of the duels for the tractor...

has anybody turna lwb prado into a ute? i have decided to make mine a second vechile rather than my daily driver and i like the ute idea. i had a play with photoshop today and this is what i came up with...

i have a stuffed transfer case and cant find manny praos being wrecked in nz, do you know what oher toyotas run the same transfer case?? does the surf running the 2lt motor run the sane transfer case?
yea this would be interesting, my 78 series has just done the same thing. i have been told its the sender, but then another guy said its the gauge itself. so i will keep and eye on this with interest
does it have to be diesel? if it doesnt go with the 2jz (later mdel supra) they are cheapish and go extremely well. there isa guy over here replaced his 2lte with a 1kz then it shat itself as well, and has gone to the 2jz. they have awsome power as well (in low range 1st it read something like...
i had to get the castor arms bent to allow for the lift but other than that there was just brake line extentions. and yea the prado is going good (well better than my old hilux anyway) its just a bit under powered (thats the next mod- lexus v8 or holden v6)..

I drive a 92 prado sx (78 series landcruiser), i have started to modify it a little. i have lifted it 4" using custom wound coils and enforcer shocks on the front and monroe shocks...
my truck has been lifted 100mm by chamberlains (christchurch, New Zealand) and i run 33s on 8" tyres with out sway bars, and havnt had any rubbing even under full articuation.

chamberlains in chch new zealand make a kit for the 78 series prado ( i have one) by memory they make 50mm and 100mm lift. I have the 100mm lift but it ended up closer to 110 because of the sag in the old springs
