So my horn has nonfunctional for a couple years. I decided to repair it and thought I'd share the fix.
1) Take off the horn cover. it will snap off with a tug.
2) Use a puller to remove the steering wheel. I used a cheap one from Harbor Freight.

So living by the ocean is a big bonus, but it's tough on the trucks. I've had some rust going and started to sand it out, but it's completely in the drip line and under the windshield. Picked up a used top from SOR that is rust free and will be cutting the old one off and welding the new one...
I put the group 31 battery in. I ended up trimming the angle clamp off of the front side of the clamp and slightly a bit of the arm, when you snug it down it fits fine Then repainted and it worked great. You do need the extension for the positive terminal, I used a piece of cooper I had in the...
Does anyone have the part # for the outside temp sending unit, that's located right in front of the radiator? I have the 1999, and I can't seem to find it online. Thx

My engine started pinging more than the usual the other day and the check engine light came on. The code that came up was 71 (7 blinks then 1). I don't see that as one of the codes. I've re-checked it several times. 7 blinks then 1 second then 1 blink, then 4 seconds and 7 again.
At first I...
I just put 33x10.5x15 BFG AT on my stock rims. I was running the 255x85/16 before, which I liked, on 16x8 rims. But I would say that I like the new tires, more so because I like the stock look. No fitment issue on the rims. BTW I have a 2 inch lift. Good Luck!!
I had the ARB steps/sliders, and had to modify the front mount to make it work(PITA). Since then I ditched those.. I also re-routed the exhaust to have both cats next to each other inside the frames. It wasn't that much to do it. That way you have the latitude to put whatever sliders on you...
