    How do you know the production date from the frame number? I plugged it into the EPC but actual production month and year does not come out. Only gives you a range.

    Depends on what you ate looking for. The rust on the fender and door frame can become an issue. The exterior foot well plates added on after market may be hiding more rust. The interior footwells likely have rust and likely have it under the protective sealant. I would check the undercarriage...

    82 Fj won't turn off

    No its 13bt (not original). I stopped it by messing with actuater vsv lever as described by oldtoy74. Now not sure if its the Vsv switch also contributing. Got white exhaust as well and oil leakage, all related?

    My FJ40 won't turn off. I disconnected the ignition harness and nada. Still running smoothly. Any ideas? Was thinking of disconnecting the fuel/ignition relay but don't know where its located.
