Anyone have a line on an individual or shop willing to do a comprehensive fluid film or woolwax undercarriage treatment (done right, inside the framerails etc.?)
Thanks in advance.
Seems now more than ever people are working completely remote. Here's my basement office, needs some work. New chair, gas fire place insert (have propane setup outside already), wine rack looking a little empty, need to move that coffee table in front of the bookshelf on the left, and some...
Have a project in mind and need a clean base to start with. Only requirements are ZERO (not even a spec) of rust, not black, and 1995-1997.
Feel free to PM if you've got something that fits the bill!
Thanks.
Curious what info is out there, obviously on the USDM side we got the 40th and Collector Editions for the 1997 model year. Was it the same for the Japanese market? Same specs?
I was just reading about the 1994 “blue marlin” trim released in Australia, had no idea that existed.

Hope someone snatches this up. Across the country for me and s*** condition, but at $5k this would be an insta-buy for me if I was closer. ARB already on there and no port craptastic roof rack to...
These are brand new in box never installed. Flip-flopped for a while but decided to go 4.88s instead.

There is a similar thread in both the 100 and 200 Classifieds Sections, makes sense here too. These trucks are changing hands at a rapid rate these days, having consolidated live market data is a nice thing for both buyers and sellers.
If you have recently bought or sold an 80 series and are...
The bushings in my rear uppers are roasted so going to replace them. I already have Landtank rear lower control arms so pinion angle is pretty set. Any reason to go with aftermarket replacements for the uppers as well (blackhawk/trail tailor/dobinson/ironman/metaltech/etc.) since my lowers are...
The Oztent RV-5 seems to be the perfect ground tent - high quality materials, decent footprint and almost instantaneous deployment. Only one problem...when packed its absolutely massive. I mean seriously, how does anyone deal with this? Seems like the only option would be strapping it down to...
Seems like most of the threads here are from guys with more more time and talent than me building their own trailers. I have a lot of respect for you all, but I am less fortunate in regards to both of those things :flipoff2:
So I am considering retail models, and would love some suggestions...
Posted this in my build thread which is just like everyone elses build thread "durr I bought a part from Joey and screwed it onto my truck". So figured this may gain a little more traction with a separate thread.
After going to 2 alignment shops, I still am stuck with a pretty drastic pull to...
Once I get my 5.29s set up my speedo is going to be way off, I see both Marks 4wd and Yellow box make units that correct, any real difference between the two? Any other solutions I'm missing?
Can get some pics up if interested, these are off a Texas truck and have 0 rust. The set up has about 30k miles on it. Would be about $900 new for all, will do $450+ shipping for all 4 shocks/4coils. Coils are dobinson 2.5" progressive.
Located in Va.
The next large upgrade on my truck will be updating the ring and pinion to 4.88. It seems there are quite a few brands out there to choose from and the cost differences between them are negligible. Here is some baseline research I’ve done on the companies I’ve found. Any personal experiences...
New never used or even installed, LCP interior Tire Carrier/Puma mount. Have the ratchet strap + all hardware...everything it came with. Link below to original product which you cannot buy at this time:

Anybody tried it? How does it feel at higher speeds? The thought here being the over drive t-case gears making longer pulls on the highway with the 5.29s/35s more bearable and with the lower low range t-case gears + 5.29s with the 35s turn it into something really special on the trail...thoughts?
