I closed the dash vent on the passenger side partially and that has helps. I also usually use the floor heat only as i do not like the hot air blowing directly in my face, but with kids in the back that does not get enough air to them.
You could also try pulling the vent out and closing off...

Ordered a new rack and high lift from steve. Will be here in a couple weeks. Also I am adding a tranny cooler to the FJ since I will be towing a pop-up to Colorado this summer. Just need to get the transmission fluid to flush the system so I can add the cooler.

Not to bad Steve. Slept till about 11 did see a nice FJ headed down 26 though yesterday late afternoon. Had lots of stickers and a rtt.

Try calling some of your local welding supply shops. I called 2 this past week and each one had a last years model welder marked down. One had a Lincoln 180 for $675, a DVI 2 for $1100 and the other shop had a fabricator 180 for $675 with a nice helmet. I ended up with the thermal arc fabricator...

also i am thinking about using 40 springs for the trailer since they will be softer than normal trailer springs and i can get the axle set up for soa so it will be close to the same ride height as my fj. That being said does anyone have a pair of decent stock 40 springs they want to get rid of.
plans are for a 4.5 x 10 trailer made of 2x2x.120 I am thinking 2 10 ft on the sides and then 6 total supports connecting them. for the front, one long bar with 2 supports. i have it drawn out but am open to any suggestions.

I put 285/70/17 Nitto Terra Graplers on this morning. They fit good, but I do have an OME lift on my truck. Will try and get pictures later if wanted.
