    Thanks, wasn't aware about not soldering them. I'm used to soldering every wire I touch lol. I pulled the vacuum line section that was under the manifold out and capped off the rest

    No I didn't, I would of had to put the manifold back on and reconnect everything so I figured it was easier to just take the egr out while it was off

    Well, as stated in my previous thread I had a short in my efi fuse and it ended up being a couple wires burnt from the egr pipe so I cut off the burnt sections and soldered new wires in one by one so I didn't get mixed up. And then went ahead and deleted the egr system completely and made plates...

    found it! Exactly what Tools R Us thought it was. Wiring harness was sitting on top of the egr pipe and melted a few wires underneath. Went ahead and decided to do an egr delete since the truck is already catless. Thanks for all the help!

    1992, uncertain of miles because the lady my uncle bought it from switched them back :bang: speedo says 150k but we're guessing its close to 200 because the odometer stopped working about a year ago {i know its a simple fix, just never really bothered me} it's been passed down through my family...

    hey everyone, yes I'm making another thread on this topic. I've read all through the previous threads about this problem but here's my problem Efi fuse blows only under load, if it's in park or neutral I can rev the heck out of it but as soon as I drive it and it goes above 2k the efi fuse...

    Thanks guys! I didn't know about the switch on the train so I'll take a look at that. The check engine light used to light up on acc, not sure how long it hasn't been working, I just seem to notice recently
