    doesn't want to rev above 2500 rpm

    my 85 did the same, i swapped out the fuel filter and drove it 2000 miles and it started again. finally i replaced the fuel filter and the pump and threw and extra filter in the center councel just in case. problem free for 10000 miles.

    MJ_Oregon, totaly! same exact scenario! I am afraid to take it in to the dealer to have it looked at in fear they would not be able to duplicate.     help. my 85 fj-60 when driving, the seat belt light comes on (when I'm wearing my seat belt) and the engine starts to buck. the truck engine either races or stalls out when clutch is depressed. i have changed plugs, cap and rotor. is this an ignition module problem?? or coil?? need help...

    Normal Buffalo wear, however, the only parts affected are rockers and dog legs. I cut out most rot and used stainless. I am not a bodywork guy, if someone is looking for a project w/bodywork, this would be it. Hope this helps.
