Nice pics, I can't wait. Hopefully I will be down there Wed afternoon, knocking on wood hoping my carb is ready tomorrow. Too many last minute things popping up.
I run the OME's and they are sweet, got them from Kurt and Andre helped me install them. I've had them in for 2 1/2 years now, and the flex is nice, but still stiff enough for street use (corners like a champ, scares my wife on occasion).
Am I missing something, lame, or mabe both, because I don;t understand how this is a lift kit:

Shop around. When I was looking most of the 60's I saw were in that range. I shopped around a little and ended up getting mine for $2500. If you're going to have to put another 2K into it, doesn't make it very affordable.
A friend of mine got a lift from them from his Dodge, got home, started with what they had told him were detailed instructions, and found out that they had given him some wrong parts, duplicate parts, and a half page set of directions. Turned what should have been an easy installation into a 3...
Kurt is a full time student, so it takes him a little while sometimes, your loss. I think you're going to find out why 4 Wheel Parts doesn't have a very good reputation, especially in the Cruiser community. For the most part I laugh at most people that have a 4WP sticker on their vehicle...
try junk yards, I got rear ended last year (got lucky only got my tailgate) I was at the local pick and pull type place (but not p&p, like tear-a-part I think) anyway, I found a tailgate that was in pretty good shape. I'm thinking your best bet would be to find one and take your friend who is...
