Black Steel wheels, like new, not sure of make, bought for swampers that were on them, and had hopes my suzuki sidekick axles would break so I could get some 8" under them, but so far she is holding up well. I will have to measure the back spacing and get some pictures tomorrow. I can text, wife...
as much as I hate some larry h miller shops. I think your best bet for a 100 series is probably the lhm lexus in town. That said, their used to be a toyota specialty shop in slc where all they worked on was toyota's I believe it was called The Toy Store
Its funny you mention that because my first car was an 83 glx mustang convertable. I drove buy it yesterday. Leather seems in good shape, typical door dings and a scratch here and there but overall visually appealing. I will have to get a test drive this weekend when I head down that way.
Former 80 LX owner, sold a few months back and getting the bug to purchase a 99 tlc. Basic questions I have are as follows: Is insurance cheaper on the 100 series versus the 80? I paid about 60 a month for our new sr5v8 4runner last year and yet out 96 LX450 was well over $100 per month. I am...
Is this Calob's old 62 in south weber? I would like to take a look at it after the christmas holiday. Thanks

If it will crank and not fire, I just had a fuel pump go out on me very similiarly. No problems present whatsoever and then I went to start the next time and it would crank and not fire. Check to see if your efi fuse(under the hood) is blown. My efi fuse blew after the pump burned up and if you...
I just had to bleed my brakes a couple of weeks ago due to foolishly thinking I needed to remove the front caliper to to my brake pads. I had great success with a vacuum pump from checker/krager auto parts($45) I think. Always start bleeding from the furthest brakeline. RR LR RF LF. Soft pedal...
Bad Fuel Pump As Simple As That. The Not So Simple Fact Was Having It Happen 300 Miles Away From Home. Thanks Cdan For The Parts. I Would Suggest As Pm Or As A Back Up Everyone Has A Back Up Fuel Pump If You Are Hovering In The 130k And Up Mileage Range. They Are Very Uncommon At Parts Stores...
thanks that sounds like an identical issue cdan gets the call in the morning for parts. Hopefully this doesn't become an epidemic but our mileage is almost identical and I have been on extremely bumpy roads as of late.
Hopefully it will be the fix.
Doing some more research I will be buying a new fuel pump strainer, some efi relays and lots of 10 gauge and 16 gauge wire for the wiring to the relays and o2 sensor wiring. Has anyone heard of a bad fuel pump on an 80 series? I see a $300 part that noone carries so it must be a pretty uncommon...
forgot to mention I am now 200 miles away from it. I am looking for a list of maybes to the cause so when I go back on monday or tuesday I will have an idea of what it might be. So sudden, one time it starts and the next it doesn't.
LX450 135,000 miles. Running great no problems two weeks straight up in the mountains nine mile canyon near Myton and Price Utah. It is not getting fuel. Will run off starting fluid and die. The EFI fuse was blown in the engine compartment. Replaced it and still would not start and it is not...
I will take them if they do not work on his 93. I just hit the squealers on my 96 so time to change them. Call me if he doesn't take them as I will be out of town until friday night. 801-347-6513

I can have my wife paypal the funds to you asap.
Get a high quality masking tape and tape the back sides of the doors. Masking is the hardest and most time consuming part so take your time. The prep is always the hardest part with bedliners. Make sure you degrease with acetone or comparable sand lightly, re-acetone, mask. Remember to mask...
Trouble Code P0420 Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold is setting itself again, so I went and bought gaskets for the o2 sensor's and the catyletic(Spelling) convertor's. Hopefully, the code will be gone for ever. I will get pictures up as I haven't seen them anywhere yet for those...
I just went through this and their is not a toyota gasket to my knowledge(I didn't check) I just went to checker auto(kragens) and they stocked it. Gasket was an exact match. Worked great just a pain to line up. I prefer gaskets to gasket material. my 2 cents.
I guess I have been lucky to have little to no consumption though my intervals were about 3K similiar to others no consumption at 3K AND THEN one Quart per 1k after. I went with the 10W 30 Extended Life this time as the heat season is almost over. The presure has been great in the truck so we...
