I recently replaced my factory stereo with an aftermarket unit and speakers. I am looking to get rid of my original head unit (everything works, including the radio, tape deck and CD changer), amp (works), and the door speakers and tweeters (work, but need re-foaming as you can see). I did not...
Selling King Springs, used for about a year/5K miles. These springs are for AHC equipped vehicles that are carrying extra load, i.e. bumpers, drawers, RTT, etc. $125 for the pair + shipping or local pickup.
So I've had my LX470 for about 8 years now, and the AHC has worked great up until now, with little maintenance. However, in the last year it has decided it doesn't want to go into high mode anymore, and even going from low to normal is a gamble. Finally, a few days ago, the AHC OFF light came...
Pulled these off my 2000 LX470 a while ago. They are a light gray color. Local pickup in El Dorado Hills only for FREE. Factory roof rails also available.
Bought the basic expo rack and am loving it so far. It's a little tricky getting everything lined up since there are so many bolts and everything is adjustable, but once on the thing is solid. I also used a couple Quickfists for a shovel mount and 3/8" bolts with wing nuts for a hi-lift jack...
I have 2 of these, brand new, unused, in box. I purchased these off Amazon but they did not work out for my LX470. I did try to install them so there are a couple scuffs around the bottom but otherwise new. I paid $170 each; asking $125 each.
I completed an AHC sensor lift a few weeks ago and wanted to jot down a few notes for others interested in doing the same. Doing the lift was pretty straight-forward, I followed the instructions here: AHC Sensor Adjustment for Lift
A few things to note:
The thread says that maxing the...
Going to be doing a run down to Hollister SVRA this Sunday in the LX470 to test the new 33" KO2s and AHC lift... Was wondering if anyone was interested in meeting up? Will likely be at the park from around 11am to 3pm.
So I was coming down Truck Hill in Hollister yesterday (hard packed dirt, 30 degree incline), and the rear driver side brake was locked up the whole descent. The passenger side kept rolling most of the time, although it locked up a bit too.
My concern is that the braking pressure seemed...
So I thought I'd do a quick write up on this as I didn't see any in my searches. It's a pretty easy operation if you have the right tools and probably takes a couple hours or so. These are the spacers:

Why would you install...
I have an LX470 and need heavier torsion bars and coils for a AHC lift and added weight. Am in SF Bay Area--prefer local, but also willing to pay for shipping.
Hey guys, just recently purchased a 2001 LX470 with 135K miles on it. I read up a lot on this site before striking on this unit and just wanted to say hi and thanks to all for creating this great resource. I originally was planning to purchase an FJZ80 because of the better wheeling...
