I'm not sure the value is really there yet for gen 5s anyhow. The L8T is really the only one worth making the effort on IMO. By the time you fab up mounts, delete the DFM fluster cluckery and mail off your harness to get pruned and flashed for 2k you coulda been way ahead on a 3/4.
All that...

I feel ya man. Wouldn't be my first engine swap and I'm no stranger to a welder. My 80 is near and dear to me, however, so I'm trying to keep this build less invasive than some previous projects.
I'm in the planning research phase of my 80 V8 swap and this setup resonates with me more than anything.
I think I understand folks struggle clearing the trans tunnel with the nv4500 in an 80- but perhaps that issue is largely because they're always behind a Cummins?
What's your thoughts here...
Any updates on if/when this will be available?
Really want to v8 swap the 80, just too time poor to wade through the details and too stubborn to pay someone else's shop rate.
Link is now dead.
I can't find any info on their new site. Does anyone know of competitors using a similar mixture? This is the first liner job I could live with.
Been here my whole life. Californication of the souths great states is never not heart breaking.
But such is life- people are gonna come and people are gonna go. So newcomers with cruisers and guns are a win in my book.
Never have cared for fast food of any variety so that's all a wash.
Nice! I'm in Lebanon. Feel free to dm me once you're settled it you want to grab a beer.
There's a couple good spots on the town square - good food and drinks + family friendly.
I'm just north of you in Wilson county.
I've yet to connect with the TN cruiser folks but hope to soon as well.
I don't get down to the boro too often but feel free to reach out regardless
The yoko website lists a 315/75R16. I just emailed discount tire direct to see if they could get them for my 80.
Simple tire has them, but I'd prefer to just use discount since my local branch does installs / service.
For me it's these, ridge grapplers, or the full jump up to the G003 mud...
