I know y’all have different tastes, but in my eyes the land rover defender mops the floor with this.
Again LR design is just spot on with the retro throwback, and its practically everything you could want inside. I like the interior of the grenadier being very rugged and all, but this is obvi aimed at a very specific demographic, which I am a long way off of. Everything is relevant to price, so for $60-90k, I think were I in the market, id just buy that old Toyota and rehab the crap out of it. Unless im missing something, no one is planning on daily driving this right? You wont really need to worry about crash safety and gadgets in this sort of thing. You still need to hit the interstate to get places though. More i think about it actually the less I get it. Can someone tell me what the point was again? A very basic interior and a very complicated engine, high entry price point, Im not sure I understand. Its a nice toy to have probably, but what is this competing with outside of trucks made several decades ago?
Nostalgia cash grab?
