I am an LC100 guy that purchased my son a 2012 4Runner limited that has 20's on from the factory. I like a taller side wall and would like to go to a 17-18" wheel. How small can we go and still clear the breaks? Also, what is the offset on the factory wheels? He would like a little tire sticking out of the fenders like my truck. I run SCS F5 wheels on my 100 with -10 offset. What can I get away with on the 4Runner?

Following. I need new tires on 2012 as well.

17" American Outlaw wheels from PO with Cooper Discoverer AT3 265/70R17

I do not know offset but they stick out about an inch.

I want a taller and skinnier tires in a KO2

These Coopers are great on the Highway and 3 Peak rated but have weaker sidewalls so i haven't taken her off road

She has an Eibach stage 1 lift

I ended up doing TRD wheels with 0 offset and 275/70/17's. After doing much research I discovered this is the largest tire that will fit on an unlifted 4Runner. 33's require a 2"-3" lift. Hope that helps.
