I get that the crossbar clamps are Yakima, but where did you get the L bracket that go from the awning to the quick mounts? Are you still liking that setup?
I’ve got 4 crossbars (two with a high bow and two with low) so I attached the Yakima mighty mounts to the low ones to secure awnings…and I used the high bow crossbars to mount the Yakima offgrid. The might mounts and awning brackets ended up working sort of like extra platforms to cinch the basket down against… making the basket more stiff. Works well.
If you do something similar, you likely won’t need All the Yakima hardware-by mixing and matching, you can move the mounts outboard as far as possible while keeping the bracket square to the vehicle and low enough to fit a basket.
