Has anyone ever done a conversion where the cargo window was made to lift up to allow access? I have seen one on a 60 that was SICK! That has since stopped making them tho.
Boy that would be cool

I talked with the gentleman that makes these and he said that he has a template made for 55s but there is little demand for this killer item. Just think that will be where you have access to your refrigerator rather than trying to figure out some slide or other option to get at it.

Is anybody as interested as myself? I am trying to motivate a guy that is already overloaded with requests.

I do like the look and have thought about how I would use them, but really in my case it wouldn't be ideal. Half of my team couldn't even reach the window latch much less reaching into a icebox. :)

I know several of the guys like to build a shallow shelf behind it in order to grab recovery gear easier. It would be handy for cooking gear, seasoning, etc. if you're set up to cook off the side. More for camping, traveling. What's one more leak anyway. :)
