filter light on permanently (1 Viewer)

Following an extensive restoration on my BJ42, my filter light stays on permanently. It's a stupid question, but which filter? Oil, fuel, air, or sedimentor. At the lamp plug I have 24v on one lead and open circuit on the other. Must be a short to earth somewhere, but at which filter. I have fitted a new regulator and the wiring diagram shows a connection to the regulator from the lamp. Could this be the problem?

It's the sedimentor… light comes on when it is full. It also comes on when there are charging issues with the alternator.
