FJ60 2F Non-US Carb HELP (1 Viewer)

I just installed a Non-US carb from City Racer after doing a full desmog. The carb isn't getting any fuel. I pulled the fuel line and cranked engine over - Gas is flowing from line. There's only one vacuum port on carb that runs to distributor for vacuum advance and I plugged the vacuum port on the Carb Insulator Plate. I poured some gas in top of carb and engine fires up.

Any suggestions? What am I missing?

Yup. Couple of love taps with a brass mallet on the needle valve and it fired right up.

I did the same on my son's 84. One of the problems I ran into was connecting the solenoid wire. The original carb had 2 Wire plug and the non us model has one wire. I forget which wite the new one plugs into. I will check tomorrow. If the wire is not connected, the engine will start but not run. The sight glass should show you if there is any gas in the carb.
