installing 3-speed into 1972 but vehicle not running.. yet (1 Viewer)

Is it possible to install and most importantly setup correctly a 3-speed transmission if the vehicle is not in running condition?

Isn't it just measurements of the play and etc? Not really needing the engine to be running? Any info is appreciated

Yes you can set it up without the vehicle running.
