4BT killer dowl pin fix (1 Viewer)

Thought I check with the diesel forum for help on the Cummins 4BT killer dowl pin fix. My 4BT is a Cummins NW 2007 rebuild. It looks like they used a punch to prevent the pin from sliding out. Should I buy the fix for it on Amazon for $15 or just leave it the way it is?
