....who has it currently?

I need it in Corrales by mid-November.

Also, if anyone has an engine stand that they are not using and can support a 1FZ please let me know. I have one already, need two engine stands for the job I am doing.

Thanks!

is that the orange one taking up clean dry space in my garage i got from beo?

Yes. I need it. I've gotta get a pick up truck to come get that from you. Will advise. Thanks.

copy that. no prob, i'm not using it. there was also an engine stand, orange as well... is that gregs too? i'm using neither anymore since i got the transmission swapped in.

Cool I'll take both of them John. I just ordered an engine stand too, so I've got the two I need with the one you have as well.

This should be interesting indeed!

I'll let you know when I'm ready to come get them.

It won't be till at least the 2nd weekend of November.

Engine stand could be mine. I was wondering who was storing that for me.

It might. It handled my cast iron 2FE. Fully dressed.

How many engines?

I was wondering how many engines have been hung from that hoist given all of it's wandering. Five for me:

2F that came out of the FJ40
Specter 2F that went in the FJ40
2F that came out of the FJ60
SBC that went into the FJ60
944 "spare" engine that came with the car

The 1FZ from Mike Robson's rig--coming out and going in.

And soon my 1FZ...coming out and going in.

IIRC, Ash's wife's 1FZ as well.

Add the 2F that came out of the basketcase, and the 2FE that went in.

it has moved the trans/tc and basketcase 1FZ package that i got for mine as well.

i had no intention of hoarding, sorry Jon and greg, i knew the hoist was floating from gregs, i think, hopefully no opportunities have been missed on account of where it has lived for 9mos. i looked at it like i was giving it a good home after it was done at mike's till the next one spoke up like onur did...

Like I said ... thanks for storing it. I actually thought somebody else used it after Mike. Glad Onur found it.

yep, that was me, i just put a transmission on it instead. :D

Greg's hoist had my 2F and SBC on it as well. the engine stand I used was Juane's I believe, unless that's one and the same that Greg has. my SBC was on that.

Can you double check on that Greg?

Yep it's definitely there, although missing the "yoke" portion. It was one of those "get it out of your Ex's garage before sundown or else things". The guy that took the 944 motor didn't have a wrench to remove the yoke at the time of reciept and I just never got it back even after asking.

So long and short of it, yes I have the stand and no you can't borrow it unless you have your own yoke.

All of my heavy engine moving/storing stuff should have "WOLFE" written on it in black ink somewhere, if that helps sort out the confusion.

I have that trailer you can use. It pulls well as long as most of the weight is in front of the wheels and the hitch is not too high. I have a drop hitch too.
