All,

July's trip is scheduled for July 20-22 in the Lake Jocassee/Keowee area with Upstate. We tentatively set this up at the conclusion of last year's trip. The campsites in the area are quickly being snapped up, so we'll need to move. We had a great time last year, Marshall showed us all the coves and waterfalls in his boat, while the ONSC crowd rented the party pontoon boat.

Most of the Saturday last year was spent swimming in the brisk water, because of the 90+ temperatures. But everyone had a blast, and all of the Rotel was eaten!

Post up if you're interested in going, and if we run into campground space issues, we'll try and figure something out...

I pm'd a few in UC last month about this but never heard back. Originally they wanted to be the host club for it from what I was told back in Jan.

If we wanted to move it to a closer NC location i'd be all for it.... even a day on jordan like or something like that.

(Sorry was going to discuss this with you last week but i've been way too busy fixing cars)

I had penciled this in on my calendar but neglected to reserve a spot. Looks like everything on those two loops is already booked. There are still some spots available across the lake (island?) that are "boat access" only.

Oh so it's your fault :grinpimp:

I kid I kid............... Brian give me a call or PM me so we can figure out what to do with it

I was looking forward to Lake Jocassee again and Marshall was planning on putting his boat in too. Looks like we just waited too late to book anything - purely our fault. If you guys find something reasonably close to Jocassee, we will try to make it. Not sure we'd be up for a weekend trip more than 3 hours away though.

No worries gents it happens..... I had meant to get with dbenke last month to remind him but forgot also.

We may do a mega hamom since we have multiple members with problems right now.

There is a bright young lad that just bought a ton of land that is just itching to host one.

Would love to have you Marshall and Rick drop by if you can make it.

Brian give me a call tonight on my old 818 number

I'm going to shoot you a call tomorrow... 6-7ish? Family has been calling to wish the 16 year old Lily Happy Birthday..... :)

Well, since there doesn't seem to be much room in the campgrounds, no interest in this run from our group nor Upstate, I suggest making this a Uwharrie trip. We substituted our June trip to make the Truck Show at Scott Clark anyway...

We can always park at Cotton Place and take a dip in the river!

Maybe short notice, and I don't have time at the moment to do a ton of research, but - Smith Mountain Lake is AWESOME!! Emma and I spent Memorial Day w/e with my family there (rented a waterfront house) and loved it!

I'd say are you going to give me a call or not but since you are going to be at my house tomorrow I guess i'll just wait till then ;)Was planning on making July into a mega HAMOM since many of us need work before the big september event.I know I've got a lot to do and Quinton does also ....... (who also has 7 acres to and a barn to work in)

I've left you two messages.... :D And have talked to Andrea once...:D

Fine with me... Maybe I'll get the 40 back to driving condition!

I've always thought Copenhagen and rednecks go hand in hand...
