ONSC Charlotte Area Members Jan. '12 Gathering

What: Meeting
When: Saturday, January 28th 4 pm - until
Where: Mac's Speed Shop - Steele Creek location 2414 Sandy Porter Rd. Charlotte, NC 28273 Just off I-485 S. Tryon Street Exit
Why: We're due to get together, admire each other's rigs, drink beer and tell lies.


I changed the venue from our normal Tilted Kilt spot in case someone wanted to bring their wife or kid(s) along. Plus, I think the food and drink specials are better. I hope this won't discourage turnout.

Post up if you can make it and spread the word to guys that don't check the boards often.

I've been waiting on this since early December so it figures you'd pick a date while I'm out. Dammit. Maybe if somebody explains to my wife why we need to cut vacation short...

I need to figure out how best to give my $$$ to ONSC for dues... And I guess TLCA might be a good idea from what I've seen.

I would pass along what works for us in the Triangle, and Mr. Strong set it up and made sure we stayed informed.

Set a consistent date, time, and location for a meeting and stick with it. Common sense mostly, but that way everyone knows when and where. That way if you can't make this month, you can plan on next month.

I would say Saturdays might be an issue, but since the Events Man is in your area, he can make sure it's planned around the meetings!

Looks like tomorrow will be sunny with a high of 63 degrees! Mac's will have a $1 off IPA drafts beer special and the live music starting at 8 pm (for those making a night out of it).

Had a great time today/tonight. Glad everyone who was there made it. Note to self: Never order the same beer as the Yeti. There's a reason the name of the beer includes the word "death".

Hope to see everyone at the Meet and Greet next month. I think we'll hold off on another Charlotte "meeting" until March.

Mark - my girls are already asking if your kids will be there the next time we go camping with the club. Perhaps my wife can talk your wife into joining us.
