Is anyone in the North Carolina Area aware of a cruiser club and if not would anyone in the area be interested in getting together and maybe trying to start a club. I was aware that a while back i had heard of Carolina Trailblazers but was not sure if there was any specific Landcruiser clubs around. Thanks, Greg.

Do not know of one but have not really looked hard. I did find a 4x4 club here in G-boro that has lots of members and is active on a Yahoo discussion forum. There must be some cruisers in there.

Upstate is probably a stretch for you guys. But we do have a couple members from NC one is in the charlotte area I believe, and one drives like 3 hours from somewhere. But if you wanted to come to an upstate event we would be happy to have you.

Group use to be around Winston Salem , of course the Upstate Cruisers, and you might also consider VA clubs.

Like Wob posted, Carolina Cruisers is the local club (in Lexington, NC) and Jonathan Lehman is the POC. Hit him at yellowcruiser@yahoo.com and he'll add you to his e-mail list.

I've been on the list for years but have seen few local group events. I know that some of them will be at GSMTR.

I'm in Charlotte, but would be interested in strengthening the NC Cruiser group to have more group rides, events, outings, etc.

How that gets done is open for debate I guess. Not looking to start a maverick, rogue club or anything like that but NC has enough active enthusiasts that having more group rides and events would be great. Just a simple organized day on the trails would be a start. Uwharrie is a pretty central spot in the state.

Right now when I hit the trails, it's more a of grass roots effort to gather the folks I know. A few folks on this board and some other non-cruiser friends.

That's how Leaky Seals and Cottonland started. Just need someone to be in charge and be active. Leaky Seals requires that an assigned member organize a club run each month that there isn't an event. Works pretty well.

Bwhahahahaha.....i still never figured out why all the reds up there put their CB antennas in the middle of the hood?

Ah, sweet patchouli...

I'll be in downtown Asheville all weekend and I can guarantee lots and lots of patchouli among other things.

Time to batten down the hatches for the faint of heart. The boys are comin' to town.

I'm down for a NC cruiser club... count me in
