Events/Trails "Official 200's in Ouray Event: Labor Day Weekend 2015"

If anyone is in / near Texas, this ( https://www.lonestartoyotajamboree.com/ ) is a pretty stellar event from what I hear. Wanted to go last year but had something come up. Out of town for it this year also.

LC200 A/C turns off on engine restart

I had the exact same issue - it's some sort of actuator or something, can't recall name.. BUT, for whatever reason, IF the rear AC was also on, then the front AC would not have the issue. If rear AC was off, the front AC would do as you stated above.. like a 30 second delay or something before...

OK, I give in. Time for a facelift

Ooops, that's correct, my bad. Did not have the newest version..

KO2 is an excellent tire, as are Nitto Terra Grapplers. I've had KO2s on every vehicle I have ever owned, solid tire and you'll likely get 50-60K+ miles out of them even on a 200. I got 50K+ out of some Terra Grapplers on a 200 also.. KO2 are HORRIBLE in mud, but great other wise. In mud, they...

    Navigation question

Toyota upgraded the nav / operating system in 2011 or 2013, not sure .. That method *should* be good in 2011 or prior I think.

    Navigation question

Go into settings - not sure which menu it is under, maybe "display settings" and uncheck the box that says something like "automatically revert back to nav" .. This box, if unchecked, will leave it on whatever screen you change it to. Default is checked to revert to Nav from any screen

Speaking of changing plugs and improved fuel consumption.......

Ha, I'm not as brave as that sounded, had a 5 gallon Jerry can on back of rig. Also, my avg. MPG is closer to 14.. best all time for me is probably road trip / all highway around 18.

FWIW - I know that you can drive ~40 miles past the "0 miles to empty" .. Tested that out a few times :]

iphone mount or place of storage for LC200s?

I use little sticker circular rubber tabs, one in front of iPhone and one to side to keep it from sliding forward or sideways.. perfect spot right below the clock on 200 series. Just sits on it's side, leans back against ridge where clock is and it's great for using Waze or Google maps

^^^^ that is under white one.. oh and those tires are 285/65, roughly 33"x12" - must have lift then, eh?!

Silver one had an OME lift.. White one is a used 2008 one owner well maintained with less miles than I had on the silver one. Long story, was really looking for 2011 or 2013 but this deal was too good to pass up. Bought white for less than insurance paid me for silver one total loss. I also feel...

My opinion on 2011 vs 2013

Still delirious obviously, the work was done on Wed night not Monday night.. Also someone had asked about the performance chip - found out it was not a chip, but it had been tuned. Asked the tech at dealer and he said the only way to add a "chip" is to do an ECU override or piggy back something...
