Window Rocket - who’s tried it?

@PIP will you ship to the UK? Tried to purchase one, but it only offered shipping to the United States and Canada.

Interest in scanning 80 series non-US repair manuals?

Technology has moved on a lot from when I cut the spine off my copy of RM184E, 315 etc to scan on my A4 scanner. The multi-page EWD's in RM184E were scanned as single pages and then reassembled in photoshop. Using a modern phone camera would probably work well now to capture them in one take.

Installation of my rear OEM Tire Carrier

The OEM lower mount re-enforcement part # is 51907-60070 . Just the top one you have to fab something up yourself.

    1hz temperature sensor location

The thread in the housing in the first picture is M16 x 1.5 . I know this is an old thread but I came across it looking for prior art on adding an after market sensor and pulled the sensor on my 1HDT to check it and order an adapter. There seem to be mixed opinions on the purpose of that...

    LC100 from Portugal

Great pictures. I visited north east Portugal and north west Spain with some friends recently and think I recognise a couple of those places. You've very lucky to live in such a wonderful country.

HDJ100 - Body off renovation, now with a hot dip galvanised frame *Picture Heavy*

I think most would have given up on the AHC a long time ago so it's good to read the information you share about your problems for the rest of us that want to keep it too. The fact you did your SA trip and kept the AHC alive is good inspiration not to give up on it. Looking forward to the next...

Interest in scanning 80 series non-US repair manuals?

I just uploaded RM434E and RM534E. I think the other FSM I scanned many years ago are already there from other contributors notably RM315E and RM184E which I think covers all of the chassis manuals? From what I remember of the EWD's, you get the same information in the chassis repair manuals as...

Has anyone successfully replaced their rear AHC lines? I think it's time.

The left rear line burst due to corrosion. Luckily I had been planning to change the lines and rams as preventative maintenance and already had them on hand. The old bushings weren't in too bad condition so I can't say changing those made a difference I could detect but it may have done. The...

Has anyone successfully replaced their rear AHC lines? I think it's time.

I had to drop the fuel tank to get the left rear line in, which meant taking the rear drive shaft off too. I did try without, but couldn't make it work, ymmv. I don't think the right side had any extra access restrictions. I have a 25mm body lift, and one of the reasons for that is easier access...

LX470 2004 | Need help with Android Screen

My 04 HDJ100 LC doesn't have hum, and I'm pretty sure a friends 05 HDJ100 LC doesn't either or he would have mentioned it. UK market, so maybe there's a difference in equipment spec and there's a clue in that? The Teyes has line outs, so an aftermarket amp used with those might get rid of the hum.

Looking for a picture of the LX470 climate control screen

Great project. Any chance you'd share the canbus information you were able to reverse engineer? I'm a C++ dev, not Android, but have done Arduino projects interfacing to sensors etc on the LC and want to build a stand alone controller for the AC so if the Teyes or any other head unit stops...

post 2003 nav delete how to.

is that red-security wire for the security led or something else security related? Is the wiring diagram for that kind of detail buried in this thread somewhere? I've gone the Teyes Andriod route and there are just a few things missing like the security indicator it would be good to get back.

    Rear Swingout DIY's

I overlapped my arms, with a spring bolt on the main arm, firing down into the bumper, and an overcenter catch on the other arm that clamps them both down onto the bumper. Works well for my use. There's a small piece of stainless on the bumper, and underside of the main arm, as a landing /...

    Fixing the AHC from hell

I don't have that exact pipe, but I do have a very similar brake pipe repair section I haven't fitted yet, and yes, it's quite hard to blow down. Difficult to quantify that, but maybe like starting a difficult balloon, only it doesn't get easier, because the 'balloon' isn't expanding. Sounds...
